Mother's Day

Hey, hey! Happy belated Mother's Day! Congratulations to all mothers!
As much as I thought about it, I could not find anything suitable for the day from my own work. So, instead, I decided to discuss some great mothers from literature with you.
Lovis from Ronia, the Robber's Daughter was my favorite character from that book. It was cool, how she ordered this bunch of robbers around as if she were the chief. And, there was so much love in her. 😍
Fantine from Les Miserables. Such motherly sacrifices! So sad that poor little Cosette didn't actually get her gifts.😥
Molly Weasley from Harry Potter. All her children were well loved and she still had some love to spare for poor orphan Harry. Sweet!
From the more realistic side, Gerald Durrell's mother in My Family and Other Animals. I love, how she somehow handled her weird and chaotic family. And she was ready to move countries when needed for her children. Respect!
Did I miss a great mother? Let me know in the comments!
